It ended the catastrophe and helped to maintain peace in the years which followed, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery. But after many decades, Overwatch's influence waned, and it was finally disbanded.

Overwatch is gone... but the planet still needs heroes.

Overwatch features a broad array of unique heroes, which range from a time-jumping adventurer, to an armored, rocket-hammer-wielding warrior, to some transcendent robot monk. Every hero performs differently, and mastering their Overwatch gameplay skills is the key to unlocking their potential. No 2 heroes are the same.

Whether you're engaging in battle on the front , providing defensive cover with your energy shield, or encouraging your allies by amplifying their damage, each hero's abilities are designed to be effective as part of a team. Learning how to use your abilities in concert with your teammates' is the secret to victory.

Teams of heroes do battle throughout Earth.

The attacking group's objective is to move the payload to a shipping point, while the defenders must stop the attackers' progress till time runs out.

Two teams struggle over control of the map, one group on offense, the other on protection. The attackers' aim is to capture critical aims, while the defenders must maintain control over them until time runs out.
